We leave at 6:30 approximately, driving on paved road towards Laguna Amarga Park entrance, where registration to the National Park is done. During the trip you can see the Patagonian steppe alternating with native forests.
The hike starts by Hotel Las Torres, taking the trail up the Ascencio Valley through forests and rivers. The final stretch is an impressive glacial morraine, at the top of which you will reach the well-known Base of the Towers look-out. From there you see the three beautiful granite spires and a turquoise lake at their feet. The scenery is spectacular and overwhealming; you will find yourserlf at a truly magical spot. You will then understand why people from all over the World come to see the towers.
This medium/high difficulty level hike takes a whole day, the hiking time being 8 to 9 hours. The way back will be on the same trail and same road, finishing at Puerto Natales.
