Cerro Dorotea on Horseback Ride

This beautiful horseback ride on Cerro Dorotea, starts at the feet of this mountain that separates Chile and Argentina, to reach, through the forest, a high look-out from where the views are privileged: you can see Puerto Natales from above, the Última Esperanza fjord, plus the snowed Patagonian Andes with glaciers on them.

Lake Sofía Horseback Ride

By lake Sofía we will reach the estancia where this horse ride starts. Friendly and gorgeous creole horses will take us around the lake shore through native lenga tree forests, traversing the lower and more humid areas of the estancia. Later we will arrive at the highest spot, from which we will see the Última Esperanza fjord and the Cordillera Prat.

Then we will go on a beautiful horse ride to enjoy the views of mountain landscapes, native vegetation and wildlife; and near the top we will observe the magnificent Andean condors. You will also spend one day living by the estancia people, trying their typical food and traditions.

Sierra Señoret Horseback Ride

This horse ride starts at estancia Laguna Sofía, and takes you to the summit of Sierra Señoret, through old lenga beech forests and streams, to reach the 1,000 m.a.s.l. summit, where we will find the condor look-out. From here you can enjoy a majestic scenery, and the amazing Patagonian skies may be crossed by Andean condors. We will also visit several caves of anthropological and paleotological relevance.
