Cerro Benítez is by Lake Sofía, and is one of the best places to learn and practice sport rock climbing since it has over 100 routes of different grades to climb.

This climbing spot between mountains is equipped with routes 5.6 to 5.13+ in the American scale.

During the activity we will climb several routes; the guide will install all the safety gear on the wall and the rope in a tope rope.

The type of rock is sedimentary conglomerate and the routes are 8 to 30 meters long. Experience the spectacular adrenaline produced by this discipline, all within the safety guaranteed by an expert guide. You will have the opportunity to see majestic condors soaring beside you.

BEAR IN MIND

Car ride takes 1 hour round trip.
Rock climbing activity is 4 hours long.
Medium/high difficulty. No previus experience is required.
A good physical condition is needed.
Minimum age: 5 years old.
Pregnant women should not sign up for the excursion.
Departure at 09:00 am. and 2:00 pm. from Puerto Natales.
Return at 3:00 and 8:00 pm. to Puerto Natales.
Suggested dates: all year round.
Minimum size group 2 to maximum 8 people.
Cancellation and reprogramming policies are 48 hours in advance.
The excursion can be suspended due to bad weather (extreme rainfall, snow or strong winds).

RECOMMENDATIONS

Wear warm technical clothes (in layers).
First layer, then fleece or softshell, then down or synthetic down jacket and over that, waterproof jacket.
Trekking shoes or sneakers.
Sunglasses, sunscreen.
Warm hat, cap, buff, gloves.
Water bottle.
