You will be able to spend one day and one night, or more days, living the rural life at one of the oldest estancias in the area around Puerto Natales, which maintains its traditions since it was founded in 1916.
This pioneer family has lived on the peninsula Antonio Varas for four generations. You will enjoy their hospitality, sharing the estancia’s day-to-day and traditions, trying their typical food and engaging in their daily tasks if you wish.
Moreover, the area is remote and pristine, right on the fjord, and surrounded by mountainous landscapes, amongst forests and peat bogs, birds and wildlife. Once you are there, you can choose to take additional programs like trekking, magnifying lens tours, horseback rides, bird-watching, cattle herding and marking done in the old style, each for an extra price to the basic “Pioneros” tour.
